Recognition notes
The FLE-16 is a 20-ton scout, a 3032 rework of the 2501-vintage FLE-4 that trades reach for speed and closer-range firepower. A heavier 180 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 65 to 97 km/h and top speed from 97 to 151 km/h, making it notably fast for its weight. Where the FLE-4 carried a Small Laser in the left arm and a Large Laser in the right, the FLE-16 mounts a Medium Laser in each arm, and its Flamer sits in the center torso facing forward rather than to the rear. The design keeps its minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and remains easily serviced; Earthwerks-FWL, Inc. builds it at Asuncion and Bernardo.
