Black Knight BL-9-KNT

The Black Knight BL-9-KNT is a 75-ton heavy brawler, a 3052 field refit of the 2578 BL-6-KNT original, built as a command 'Mech. Where the BL-6-KNT mounts a standard PPC in the right arm, this refit carries an ER PPC, and the four medium lasers scattered across the arms and torsos give way to medium pulse lasers. In place of the head-mounted small laser, a large pulse laser sits in the center torso, and the Beagle active probe is dropped for a hatchet fitted to the left arm. A 300 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 300 fusion plant of the original design, and the heat-sink count is cut from 20 single to 15 double. Field Refit units are assembled at various sites.
