Black Knight BL-7-KNT-L

The BL-7-KNT-L is a 75-ton brawler built around a field refit of the original Black Knight, fought at close range with a wall of lasers. Where the 2578 BL-6-KNT carried a PPC in the right arm, this 2809 rework replaces it with a Large Laser, joining the Medium Laser in that same limb. The left arm keeps its Medium Laser, and the torsos still mount a Large Laser and Medium Laser each on both sides, with the Small Laser in the head unchanged. Standard internal structure replaces the endo steel framing of the original, and the Beagle active probe in the center torso is gone, while the heat-sink count rises from 20 to 22 single sinks. It remains a command 'Mech, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65, and is assembled piecemeal as a field refit at various sites rather than a single dedicated plant.
