Balius A

The Balius A is a 65-ton heavy that fights at long range, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97. Where the Balius Prime mounts an ER Large Laser and a Medium Pulse Laser in the right torso, this configuration carries a HAG/20 there instead, and in place of the Prime's Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso it fields an ER Medium Laser. The two rear-facing Medium Pulse Lasers on the Prime's center torso are also replaced here by a pair of rear-facing ER Medium Lasers, alongside the ER Large Laser retained in the left torso and the Flamer in the head. The A configuration runs with 10 double heat sinks against the Prime's 14, and shares the same rugged, field-serviceable frame. Manufacturing Site 3 builds it at New Oslo, with production also at Transitional Facility HH-Beta.
