Viper (Black Python) 4

The Viper (Black Python) 4 is a 75-ton heavy that fights at stand-off range, cruising at 54 km/h and topping out near 86 km/h, with jump capability of 120 metres. Where the 3051 original mounts twin machine guns in the left arm, this 3067 rebuild carries an ER medium laser there, and a Heavy Large Laser replaces the Large Pulse Laser in each of the left and right torso, alongside the Medium Pulse Laser and paired Small Pulse Lasers in each torso. The heat-sink count rises from 13 to 18 double sinks, while jump range falls from 150 to 120 metres. A targeting computer remains fitted in the right arm. New Kent Armorworks builds the type at its New Kent plant on Celebes.
