Viper (Black Python) 2

The Viper (Black Python) 2 is a 75-ton heavy skirmisher, a 3052 rework of the 3051 Black Python. In place of the original's Large Pulse Laser and Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso, it carries an Ultra AC/2, and where the right torso mounted a Large Pulse Laser and Medium Pulse Laser, this variant fields twin ER Large Lasers and a third Small Pulse Laser. The paired machine guns in the left arm and the small pulse lasers across both torsos carry over from the original. An ECM suite joins the left arm, and the right arm carries a targeting computer. The heat-sink count drops from 13 to 12 double sinks. New Kent Armorworks builds it at New Kent (Celebes).
