Thunder THR-C4

The THR-C4 is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3083 rebuild of the 3055 THR-1L original. Where the THR-1L carried an AC/20 in the right torso, this variant mounts a Thunderbolt 20 in the right arm, and in place of the left torso's Medium Pulse Laser and LRM 5 pairing it fields an ER Medium Laser in the left arm along with a Medium X-Pulse Laser in the head. A lighter 280 XL fusion engine replaces the 350 XL unit, dropping cruising speed from 54 to 43 km/h and top speed from 86 to 65 km/h, while endo steel internal structure replaces the standard structure of the original. Heat sinks rise from 11 to 12 double sinks, and the reinforced head cowl carries over from the THR-1L; this version adds reinforced legs and is noted as an easily-serviced design.
