Thunder THR-2L

The THR-2L is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3063 rework of the 3055 THR-1L that keeps its cruising speed at 54 km/h and top speed near 86, with Triple-Strength Myomer allowing a boosted cruising speed of 76 km/h under combat heat. In place of the AC/20 it fields an LB 20-X AC in the right torso, and where the base model carried a Medium Pulse Laser and LRM 5 in the left torso, this variant mounts a Streak SRM 6 there. The two Medium Pulse Lasers in the right torso and center torso are replaced by ER Medium Lasers in the same locations, and an ER Small Laser sits in the left arm. Stealth armor replaces the THR-1L's standard plating, and the chassis retains its reinforced head cowl. Ceres Metals Industries builds it at Capella, with additional production at Sian and St. Ives.
