Thunder THR-3L

The Thunder THR-3L is a 70-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 3066 rebuild of the 3055 THR-1L skirmisher. Where the THR-1L's right torso carried an AC/20, this variant fields an Arrow IV, and in place of the LRM 5 and medium pulse laser in the left torso it mounts a Streak SRM 6 and an ER Medium Laser. The center torso's medium pulse laser gives way to an ER Medium Laser, and the medium pulse laser once carried in the right torso is dropped entirely. Triple-Strength Myomer replaces the standard myomer, and the boosted cruising speed reaches 76 km/h under combat heat. Stealth armor replaces the standard plating, and a Guardian ECM suite sits in the left arm. CASE lines the left torso, and both machines carry the reinforced head cowl. Ceres Metals Industries builds the type at its Capella plant.
