Strider SR1-OD

The Strider SR1-OD is a 40-ton striker built on the same 240 fusion engine as the Strider SR1-O, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97. Where the SR1-O mounts an SRM 6 with Artemis IV fire-control system in each arm, this configuration carries a Medium Pulse Laser and a Streak SRM 2 in each arm. A TAG unit sits in the left torso alongside a C3 slave unit, both protected by CASE, with a second CASE installation in the right torso. The Small Laser in the head and the Beagle active probe in the center torso carry over from the base configuration. Luthien Armor Works builds the type at its OmniMech Production Facility on Luthien, with Irian BattleMechs Unlimited also producing it at Shiro III.
