Recognition notes
The Phoenix Hawk PXH-7K is a 45-ton striker that fights close-in, a 3070 rebuild of the 2568 PXH-1. Where the original carried a Large Laser and a pair each of Medium Lasers and Machine Guns split across both arms, this variant pares the arsenal down to an ER Medium Laser in the left arm and a Snub-Nose PPC in the right. A 270 light fusion engine replaces the PXH-1's standard fusion plant, endo steel internal structure and light ferro-fibrous armor replace the base model's standard structure and plating, and double heat sinks stand in for its single sinks. Jump range extends from 180 to 270 metres, and a C3 slave unit sits in the head. It functions as a command 'Mech with a jettisonable arm weapon and enhanced communications gear aboard, built by Cosby BattleMech and Myomer Research Firm at Kajikazawa, with production also at Coventry.
