The Phoenix Hawk PXH-1-EC is a 45-ton medium that fights at medium range, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97 with a 180-metre jump capability. This 2819 field refit of the 2568 original drops the medium laser and machine gun from the left arm for a Prototype ER Medium Laser (CP), and in the right arm replaces the Large Laser, medium laser, and machine gun with an Improved Large Laser and a second Prototype ER Medium Laser (CP). An Anti-Missile System sits in the center torso, and the ten heat sinks are now Inner Sphere double units rather than single. It remains a command 'Mech with a jettisonable arm weapon and enhanced communications gear, and as a field refit it is assembled at various sites rather than by a single manufacturer.
