Nyx NX-110

The Nyx NX-110 is a 30-ton scout that fights close-in, a 3141 rebuild of the 3076 NX-80 that shifts the chassis from striker duty to reconnaissance. It cruises at 108 km/h and tops out at 162 km/h. Where the NX-80 fielded twin ER medium lasers, an ER small laser, and an SRM 6, the NX-110 reduces the arsenal to a Medium Re-engineered Laser in each arm. Anti-penetrative ablation armor covers the frame in place of the original's ferro-fibrous plating, and a Bloodhound active probe in the right torso stands in for the NX-80's Beagle active probe. A C3 slave unit sits in the head. The design carries a low, hard-to-target silhouette and a maintenance-intensive build. Diplan 'MechYards builds it at Aix-la-Chapelle.
