Recognition notes
The Nyx NX-100 is a 30-ton scout that trades the NX-80's close-in striker armament for stand-off firepower, cruising at 108 km/h and topping out near 162. The twin ER medium lasers in the arms carry over from the NX-80, but the ER small laser in the left torso and the SRM 6 in the center torso give way to three MML 3 racks, one each in the left torso, right torso, and center torso. The Beagle active probe in the right torso is absent from this configuration, and heavy ferro-fibrous plating replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous armor. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and maintenance-intensive reputation of the line, and is built by Diplan 'MechYards at Aix-la-Chapelle.
