Recognition notes
The Mercury MCY-98 is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out near 130. Where the MCY-99 of 2742 carries MASC for a sprint burst to 173 km/h, this 2810 loadout drops that system entirely, leaving its running speed as its ceiling. Standard armor covers the design in place of the ferro-fibrous plating on the original, and the weapons carry over unchanged: a Medium Laser in the right arm and another in the left torso, with a Small Laser in the center torso and one in the head. It remains an easily-serviced design, built by Mitchell Vehicles at Sirius V.
