Mercury MCY-105

The Mercury MCY-105 is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, a 3092 rebuild of the 2742 MCY-99 original. Where the MCY-99 ran a 160 fusion engine, this configuration carries a 240 XL fusion engine paired with an endo steel structure, lifting cruising speed from 86 to 130 km/h and top speed from 130 to 194 km/h. Its lasers are upgraded in kind: an ER medium laser sits in the right arm and another in the left torso, with an ER small laser in the center torso and a second in the head. The double heat sinks replace the base model's single sinks, and the MCY-105 drops the MASC unit that gave the MCY-99 its sprint speed. Ferro-fibrous armor carries over from the original, and Skobel MechWorks builds the type at Terra.
