Recognition notes
The Mercury MCY-102 is a 20-ton scout that closes to short range, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130, with a MASC-boosted sprint of 173 km/h when engaged. Where the MCY-99 carries a Medium Laser in the right arm and left torso plus a Small Laser in the center torso and head, this variant pares the arsenal down to a single ER Medium Laser in the right arm and an ER Small Laser in the head. Endo steel structure replaces the standard framework of the earlier model, and a C3i computer occupies the left torso. The design remains an easily-serviced one, and Skobel MechWorks builds it at Terra.
