Mastodon C

The Mastodon C is a 95-ton juggernaut built on the same 285 XL fusion engine as the Mastodon Prime, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the Prime carries a pair of ER PPCs, this configuration fields a single ER PPC in the left arm alongside a Gauss Rifle in the right arm. In place of the Prime's twin Streak LRM 20 racks in the torsos, it mounts four ER Medium Lasers in the left torso and three Plasma Cannons in the right torso. An active probe in the left torso replaces the CASE II fitted to both torsos on the Prime. The frame is rugged and field-serviceable, though known as a maintenance-intensive design, and it is built by Jötunn BattleWorx at Goito.
