Manticore Heavy Tank "The Ballista"

The Manticore Heavy Tank "The Ballista" is a 60-ton tracked combat vehicle refitted as a missile boat, cruising at 43 km/h with a top speed near 65. Where the base Manticore packs its turret with an LRM 10, an SRM 6, and a PPC and carries a Medium Laser on the front of the hull, this refit strips all three turret weapons and the hull laser down to a single Extended LRM 10 in the turret. A C3 Slave Unit sits in the hull alongside CASE and a supercharger, and the hull now runs an XL engine in place of the original Fusion plant. Heavy Ferro-Fibrous plate replaces the base tank's Standard armor. The refit is fielded by no fixed manufacturer, built as a field refit at various facilities.
