The Manticore Heavy Tank (LB-X) is a 60-ton tracked combat vehicle built as a brawler, cruising at 43 km/h with a top speed near 65. Where the base model mounts a PPC, an LRM 10, and an SRM 6 in its turret, this variant strips the turret down to an LB 10-X AC and a Streak SRM 6, and the medium laser on the front of the hull gives way to a medium pulse laser in the same position. The hull carries ferro-fibrous armor in place of the standard plate on the original. New Earth Trading Company builds this variant at New Earth.
