Mackie MSK-6S

The Mackie MSK-6S is a 100-ton assault that trades the MSK-5S's sniping reach for close-in punch, a 2443 rework of the 2439 original. In place of the AC/5 in the right arm it mounts an AC/10, and where the MSK-5S carried a single large laser in the center torso, the MSK-6S fields a pair of Medium Lasers there instead. The Primitive Prototype PPC in the left arm carries over unchanged. Cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, it is slow for its weight, and its heat-sink count drops from 17 to 15 single sinks. It keeps the rugged, field-serviceable frame and easily-serviced design of the line, plated in primitive armor. Harmony MetalWorks builds it at Harmony, with Skobel MechWorks producing it as well.
