Locust IIC 9

The Locust IIC 9 is a 25-ton striker that fights close in, and this configuration rebuilds the 2832 original around raw speed and a leaner arsenal. Where the original original packed eight ER small lasers across both arms plus a medium pulse laser in the center torso, this variant carries a single Improved Heavy Medium Laser in each arm and drops the torso weapon entirely, adding a Clan laser anti-missile system in the head. A 350 Clan XXL fusion engine replaces the 200 fusion engine, lifting cruising speed from 86 km/h to 151 km/h and top speed from 130 to 227 km/h, while Inner Sphere heavy ferro-fibrous armor replaces the base model's ferro-fibrous plating. It keeps the same minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and low, hard-to-target silhouette. Olivetti Weaponry builds it at Sudeten.
