Locust IIC 8

The Locust IIC 8 is a 25-ton scout, a 3084 rework of the 2832 Locust IIC that fought as a striker. Where the original packed eight ER small lasers across both arms alongside a medium pulse laser, this configuration strips the arms away entirely and mounts a single ER Large Laser in the center torso. A 300 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 86 to 130 km/h and top speed from 130 to 194 km/h, making it notably fast for its weight. The armless configuration reinforces the type's low, hard-to-target silhouette, and Gorton, Kingsley, & Thorpe Enterprises builds it at Satalice.
