Kodiak 5

The Kodiak 5 is a 100-ton assault that fights as a brawler, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the original Kodiak carried twin Streak SRM 6 racks in the left torso and an Ultra AC/20 in the right torso, this configuration drops the SRM racks entirely and swaps the autocannon for a Gauss Rifle in the right torso. The left arm adds an ER Large Laser alongside its four ER Medium Lasers, and the right arm carries a fifth ER Medium Laser beyond the four on the base machine. The ER Large Laser in the center torso carries over, and the heat-sink count rises from 20 to 23 double sinks. Both arms still carry reinforced battle fists, and this configuration is fielded as a field refit rather than a factory-built model.
