Hornet HNT-182

The HNT-182 is a 20-ton striker, a 3130 refit of the 2760-era HNT-151 that keeps the same 54 km/h cruising speed and 86 km/h top speed with a 150-metre jump. Where the original carried a Small Laser in the left arm, this version fields a Medium Laser there alongside the Medium Laser in the right arm, and the LRM 5 in the right torso gives way to an MML 5 in the same location. An XL fusion engine and endo steel structure replace the earlier fusion engine and standard structure, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating, with CASE added in the left torso. It keeps the minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and the low, hard-to-target silhouette of the base model. Coalition Armory, Inc. performs the refit at its Filtvelt works.
