Highlander HGN-740

The HGN-740 is a 90-ton sniper, a 3115 rebuild of the 2592-era HGN-732, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54 with a 90-metre jump. Where the original mounted a Gauss rifle in the right arm, this variant carries an ER PPC there instead, backed by a PPC capacitor, and the left arm's SRM 6 becomes a Streak SRM 6. The LRM 20 in the left torso remains but now feeds through an Artemis IV fire-control system, with CASE II replacing the base model's plain CASE, and the twin Medium Lasers in the right torso are replaced by ER Medium Lasers. Twin M-Pods sit in each leg, an addition absent from the original, and light ferro-fibrous armor covers the frame in place of the base model's ferro-fibrous plating. The type keeps its reinforced head cowl and reinforced legs, and StarCorps Industries builds it at Son Hoa.
