Highlander HGN-641-X-2

The HGN-641-X-2 is a 90-ton assault, reworked as a juggernaut where the HGN-732 original fought as a sniper. Both retain the Gauss Rifle in the right arm, but the SRM 6 in the left arm gives way to an MML 7, and the LRM 20 in the left torso is replaced by a second MML 7; the Medium Laser in the right torso becomes an ER Medium Laser. A 270 XL fusion engine replaces the standard 270 fusion unit, and reinforced internal structure and light ferro-fibrous armor take the place of the standard structure and ferro-fibrous plating on the original, while the heat-sink count drops from 12 single to 10 double. Cruising and top speeds hold at 32 and 54 km/h, with the same 90-metre jump capability carried over. It remains a command 'Mech with a reinforced head cowl and reinforced legs, and this refit is credited to ComStar, built at various sites.
