The Highlander HGN-734 is a 90-ton juggernaut, a 3062 rework of the 2592-vintage HGN-732 sniper. Where the 732 carried a Gauss rifle in the right arm and a single SRM 6 in the left, the 734 leaves the right arm empty of weapons and fits twin ER medium lasers to the left. The LRM 20 in the left torso gives way to a pair of Streak SRM 6 racks, and the right torso's twin medium lasers are replaced by an LB 20-X AC and an ER large laser; a medium pulse laser is added in the center torso. A 270 light fusion engine replaces the standard 270 fusion engine of the original, and 14 double heat sinks stand in for its 12 single sinks, though standard armor plating covers the 734 in place of the 732's ferro-fibrous plating. CASE still lines the left torso, but the second CASE installation in the right torso is gone. Both machines share the command 'Mech's reinforced head cowl and reinforced legs, built by StarCorps Industries at Son Hoa.
