The Goshawk (Vapor Eagle) 7 is a 55-ton skirmisher, a 3136 field refit of the 2850 original. Where the Model 6 mounted a trio of Machine Guns in the left arm and three ER Medium Lasers in the right, this variant carries a Plasma Cannon in the left arm and an ER PPC in the right. The paired Ultra AC/2 and Machine Gun batteries in the torsos give way to five Micro Pulse Lasers in the left torso and five more in the right, and the targeting computer stays in the right torso. MASC in the left torso and a supercharger in the center torso let it sprint to 162 km/h with both engaged, though the jump jets of the earlier model are gone, and an Inner Sphere anti-personnel pod is fitted in each leg. It is a field refit, built at various sites rather than a single dedicated line.
