Goshawk (Vapor Eagle) 3

The Goshawk (Vapor Eagle) 3 is a 55-ton skirmisher that trades the model 6's short-ranged, ammunition-heavy battery for an energy-and-missile mix. Where the model 6 mounts three Machine Guns in the left arm, this variant carries an ATM 3, and the right arm's trio of ER Medium Lasers gives way to a single ER PPC. In the torsos, the paired Ultra AC/2s and machine gun of the model 6 are replaced by a Heavy Medium Laser and SRM 2 in the left torso and two Heavy Medium Lasers with a second SRM 2 in the right torso. The targeting computer in the right torso carries over from the earlier model, and the heat-sink count rises from 11 to 15 double heat sinks. Cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed near 97, and the jump jets still carry it 180 metres. New Kent Armorworks builds this version at its New Kent (Celebes) plant.
