Recognition Notes

The Fireball ALM-XF is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, a 3077 field rebuild of the 3053 ALM-7D. A 320 XXL fusion engine replaces the original's 220 XL, lifting cruising speed from 119 to 173 km/h and top speed from 184 to 259 km/h, and with MASC and a supercharger engaged it can sprint as high as 432 km/h. In place of the Streak SRM 2 and Machine Gun, the left torso now carries a pair of ER Small Lasers, and ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating of the ALM-7D. The type keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette and enhanced communications gear, and is assembled as a field refit at various sites rather than a dedicated factory line.
