Recognition Notes

The Fireball ALM-9D is a 20-ton scout, a 3054 refit of the 3053 ALM-7D that trades close-in firepower for a touch more reach. Where the ALM-7D carries a machine gun in the right torso, the ALM-9D mounts a medium laser in that same location, alongside the Streak SRM 2 in the left torso. Cruising speed holds at 119 km/h with a top speed near 184 km/h on its 220 XL fusion engine. It keeps the low, hard-to-target silhouette and the enhanced communications gear of the line, and is built by Corean Enterprises at New Avalon.
