The Fenris (Ice Ferret) I is a 45-ton scout that fights close in, cruising at 86 km/h and topping out at 130. Where the Prime configuration mounts an ER PPC and an ER Small Laser in the Left Arm and a Streak SRM 2 in the Right Arm, this configuration carries an SRM 6 and an M-Pod in each arm, with an ER Small Laser in the Center Torso. In place of the Prime's active probe in the Center Torso, this configuration mounts a Bloodhound active probe in the Right Torso. It runs on mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology, with a Clan XL fusion engine, Clan endo steel internal structure, and Clan ferro-fibrous armor, and carries 12 Clan double heat sinks. W-7 Facilities builds it at Tranquil, among other sites.
