Recognition Notes
The Defiance DFC-OB is a 55-ton fighter configured for fire-support, stripping away the base configuration's nose-mounted Gauss rifle and paired medium pulse lasers along with the ER medium lasers and ER small lasers scattered across its wings and aft arc. In their place this configuration carries a single LB 10-X AC in the right wing and a matching LB 10-X AC in the left wing, leaving the nose and aft arcs empty. The eleven double heat sinks and standard armor carry over from the base configuration. Ceres Metals Industries builds the type at Capella.
