The Dasher (Fire Moth) A is a 20-ton scout that trades the Prime configuration's brawling loadout for reconnaissance gear, cruising at 108 km/h and topping out at 162, with a MASC-driven sprint of 216 km/h. Where the Prime carries twin ER medium lasers, an SRM 6, and an SRM 4, this configuration mounts an Anti-Missile System in the left arm, a TAG in the right arm, and a Streak SRM 4 in the right torso. An active probe fills out the right arm alongside the TAG, and the machine keeps its low, hard-to-target silhouette. It carries the same 200 XL fusion engine, ferro-fibrous armor, and MASC in the center torso as the Prime, and is built by Dominion Facility Kappa-4 with production also at several other sites.
