Recognition Notes
The Corsair CSR-V20 is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, built around the pair of large lasers in the nose that the CSR-V12 also carries. Where the CSR-V12 fills out its nose with paired small lasers and mounts a medium laser on each wing plus paired small lasers aft, the CSR-V20 strips all of that away and adds an SRM 6 in the nose. Sixteen single heat sinks cool the type, which flies in standard armor. The CSR-V20 is a field refit rather than a factory-built variant, assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated plant.
