Corsair CSR-V12b

The Corsair CSR-V12b is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, refitted from the CSR-V12 with a heavier nose battery. The paired Large Lasers give way to twin ER Large Lasers in the nose, joined there by a Medium Laser in place of the two Small Lasers the base model carried in that position. Each wing trades its Medium Laser for a Medium Pulse Laser, while the paired Small Lasers in the aft carry over unchanged. The hull moves from standard armor to Ferro-Aluminum plate, and fifteen double heat sinks replace the base model's sixteen single heat sinks. This variant is a field refit, built at various sites rather than by a single manufacturer.
