Clint CLNT-2-3U

The CLNT-2-3U is a 40-ton medium that fights at stand-off range, a 3050 rebuild of the 2607 CLNT-1-2R that trades reach for a different kind of reach. Where the original carried an AC/10 in the right arm, this configuration mounts an ER PPC in the same location, and a Medium Pulse Laser in the center torso joins a second Medium Pulse Laser now added in the left torso. Double heat sinks replace the base model's single heat sinks, though cruising speed holds at 65 km/h with a top speed near 97 and no change to the standard armor. It remains a maintenance-intensive design, and is built by Bell Refit Yards along with Defiance Industries and Pinard Protectorates Limited at plants including Bell.
