The Chippewa CHP-W5b is a 90-ton fighter flown in the attack role. It swaps the CHP-W5's fusion engine for an XL unit and replaces the standard armor with ferro-aluminum plate, while its 25 heat sinks become double-strength. The nose drops the SRM 6 the CHP-W5 carried, keeps its twin LRM 15 launchers and twin medium lasers, and gains an Artemis IV FCS. Each wing swaps its pair of large lasers for ER large lasers, and twin small lasers cover the aft. Bowie Industries builds it at Dell.
