Challenger MBT XVc

The Challenger MBT XVc is a 90-ton tracked combat vehicle refitted as a sniper, cruising at 32 km/h with a top speed near 54. Where the Challenger MBT X carries paired medium pulse lasers and Streak SRM 2 launchers on its hull, this variant mounts a Thunderbolt 15 on the front and two Magshot guns on each side, and drops the small pulse laser at the rear along with the Artemis IV FCS in the turret. The turret still pairs a Gauss rifle with a second heavy weapon, here a Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle in place of the LB 10-X AC, LRM 10, and Anti-Missile System of the original. The XVc replaces the X's XL engine with an XXL engine and its Ferro-Fibrous plate with Heavy Ferro-Fibrous armor. General Motors Test Labs builds the type at Salem.
