The Caesar CES-4S is a 70-ton brawler that fights close-in, a 3064 rebuild of the 3049 CES-3R, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the CES-3R paired an ER PPC with a Gauss Rifle and four medium pulse lasers split between the arms and rear torsos, the CES-4S drops the ER PPC for a Large Pulse Laser in the right arm and puts two Medium Pulse Lasers together in the left arm, doing away with the rear-facing lasers. The Gauss Rifle moves from the right torso to the center torso as a Heavy Gauss Rifle, and a pair of ER Medium Lasers fills the left torso. The 280 XL fusion engine is replaced by a 280 light fusion engine, endo steel internal structure takes the place of standard structure, and the heat-sink count falls from 16 to 12 double. CASE sits in the right torso, and the type carries hyper-extending arm actuators. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
