The Caesar CES-3S is a 70-ton brawler, a 3067 rebuild of the 3049 CES-3R, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the CES-3R carries an ER PPC in the right arm, this configuration mounts a Heavy PPC, backed by a Medium Pulse Laser in that same arm and a second Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm. The rear-facing Medium Pulse Lasers in the left and right torso are gone, replaced by a single ER Small Laser facing rearward from the center torso, while the Gauss Rifle stays in the right torso. A Guardian ECM suite joins the CASE installation in the right torso, and the shift to a 280 light fusion engine with endo steel structure and light ferro-fibrous armor trims the heat-sink count from 16 to 12 double sinks. Both arms carry hyper-extending arm actuators, and Johnston Industries builds the type at New Syrtis.
