Batu E

The Batu E is a 40-ton fighter flown as a fast dogfighter. Where the base configuration mounts an ER Large Laser in the nose with a targeting computer, this configuration carries an Ultra AC/20 in the nose alone, and the wing-mounted Medium Pulse Lasers of the base configuration are absent entirely. In their place the aft arc holds four Streak SRM 2 launchers in place of the base configuration's single ER Medium Laser. CASE sits in the fuselage, and the type runs 10 double heat sinks against the base configuration's 12, flying in Ferro-Aluminum armor. Mercer Foundries builds it at New Kent (Celebes).
