Akuma AKU-2X

The Akuma AKU-2X is a 90-ton juggernaut, a 3071 refit of the 3058 AKU-1X, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54. Where the original carried an ER PPC in the left arm, this configuration mounts a Heavy PPC, and the left torso's MRM 30 becomes an MRM 40. It drops the left arm's Streak SRM 4, the right arm's Medium Laser, and the center torso's Streak SRM 6, keeping the Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm and the LB 10-X AC in the right torso. In their place the left torso gains an Apollo missile fire-control system and CASE, the right torso adds its own CASE, and the center torso carries a C3 slave unit. It is an easily-serviced design, refit by Independence Weaponry at New Samarkand.
