Akuma AKU-1XJ

The Akuma AKU-1XJ is a 90-ton assault fielded as a juggernaut alongside the AKU-1X base configuration, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, with a jump capability of 90 metres. Where the base configuration carries an ER PPC, a Medium Pulse Laser, and a Streak SRM 4 in the left arm, this configuration mounts an ER Large Laser alongside two Medium Pulse Lasers there, and the right arm carries no weapon in place of the base configuration's Medium Laser. The left torso holds an MRM 40 where the base configuration fields an MRM 30, and the right torso carries an LB 20-X AC where the base configuration mounts an LB 10-X AC. In the center torso an ER Small Laser stands in place of the base configuration's Streak SRM 6, and this configuration runs 10 double heat sinks against the base configuration's 13. The airframe is built as an easily-serviced design, and Independence Weaponry builds it at Quentin.
