Ymir BWP-3A

The Ymir BWP-3A is a 90-ton brawler, a 2733 rework of the 2462 BWP-X1 missile boat. Where the original carried an AC/5 in the left arm, this variant mounts a Large Laser there, matching the Large Laser in the right arm, and the right arm's flamers are absent. The left torso's four SRM 2 racks give way to a single SRM 6, and the right torso's twin LRM 5s are replaced by one LRM 10, with a Medium Laser added in the head. Artemis IV fire-control systems sit in the left torso and the right torso. A 360 fusion engine replaces the 325, raising cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed to 65, and standard armor takes the place of the original's primitive plating, with 16 double heat sinks replacing 16 single ones. The design keeps its stable firing platform stance. Field Refit shops build it at various sites.
