Viking VKG-3W

The VKG-3W is a 90-ton missile boat, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, a rebuild of the 3059-era VKG-2F that trades reach for volume and flexibility. Where the VKG-2F carried a single LRM 20 in each arm, this configuration mounts a pair of MML 9 racks per arm, and the leg-mounted machine guns give way to Streak SRM 2 launchers. In the torsos, the LRM 15 and Small Laser combination is replaced by a Light AC/2 on each side, with CASE still lining both torsos. The Artemis IV fire-control system is gone from the arms and torsos, and a C3i computer now sits in the center torso. It keeps the minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and the easily-serviced layout of the original, and is typically assembled through field refit rather than at a dedicated factory.
