Uziel UZL-2S (Jacob II)

The UZL-2S (Jacob II) is a 50-ton striker, a 3071 rework of the 3063 Uziel that trades reach for close-in punch. Where the original mounted twin PPCs, this variant carries a Light AC/5 in each arm, and in place of the machine guns in the torsos it fields a Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso and another in the right, with a Streak SRM 6 added to the left torso as well. A lighter 250 XL fusion engine drops cruising speed from 65 to 54 km/h and top speed from 97 to 86, though a supercharger in the left torso pushes sprint speed to 108 km/h when engaged, and the jump jets are gone. Light ferro-fibrous armor replaces the standard plating, the Beagle active probe is absent, and an actuator enhancement system runs through each arm. The reinforced head cowl carries over from the base configuration. Defiance Industries builds it at Furillo.
