Toro TR-B-9

The TR-B-9 is a 35-ton brawler that rebuilds the Toro line first fielded in 2481, trading the TR-A-1's Large Laser for a Light PPC and Medium Laser combination in the left arm, and replacing the twin SRM 2 racks with an MML 5 in each of the left and right torsos. A slightly larger 175 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, and ferro-fibrous armor stands in for the original's primitive plating. CASE lines the right torso and a Guardian ECM suite sits in the head, neither of which the TR-A-1 carried. Protectorate Arms Conglomerate builds the type at its Diik works, one of the sites that produced the original.
