Toro TR-B-12

The TR-B-12 reworks the Toro as a 35-ton skirmisher fighting at stand-off range, a marked shift from the TR-A-1's close-in brawling of 2481. In place of the Large Laser it carries a Light PPC and an ER Medium Laser in the left arm, and where the TR-A-1 fielded a pair of SRM 2 racks, this variant mounts an MML 5 in each torso. A lighter 210 XL fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 65 km/h and top speed from 65 to 97 km/h, while endo steel structure replaces the standard frame and double heat sinks replace the single units of the original. The armor reverts to standard plate in place of the TR-A-1's primitive covering, and Protectorate Arms Conglomerate still builds the type at Diik.
